Getting Involved

We invite you to contribute your perspective, skill, and resources to help make Williams even better for our students. And to make your own Williams experience even better, check out family communications and services, look for invitations to upcoming regional events, and take advantage of special rates at The Williams Club in New York. As always, feel free to email us with any questions, comments, or suggestions you might have.

Read Along with Williams

Join first-year students this summer as they read The Sixth Extinction by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Elizabeth Kolbert, who will visit campus in September. Williams Reads programming throughout the 2016-17 year will include collaborations with the Confronting Climate Change initiative, which is bringing a dozen speakers to campus. More »

Williams Commencement 2016

This video recaps the sights and sounds of commencement weekend. Go here for more video, photos, speeches, and fun.

Learn more about how your student will settle in, get answers to frequently asked questions, save the weekend of Oct. 28 for Family Days, and stay on top of campus happenings and issues via apaper or digital subscription to The Williams Record, the college’s student-run newspaper.

Sophomore fall’s a great time to begin wider explorations. Encourage your students to learn where to start and mark their calendars for this September’s Career Fair and Study Away Fair.

If your student’s studying away, watch this pre-departure webinar and learn more about stayinghealthy and safe. And if your student’s staying on campus, that’s terrific! This would be a great year to take a Williams tutorial and explore off-campus study and career opportunities for next summer.

Thinking beyond Williams (so soon!), has your student explored the post-graduate fellowships Williams offers? We offer more of them for travel and study than pretty much any other college, and our students regular win national fellowships as well. The first deadlines are in late August, so this is a good time for your student to visit our fellowships website and see how far our students have gonein recent years.
